HISTORY OF CTC.
CTC QUALITY MAINTENANCE PTY LTD (CTC) was incorporated in December 1996, and since then has grown to be a force within the Plant and Equipment Maintenance Industry.
It is a young and vibrant company which has an exciting future within the maintenance/engineering sector.
Initially CTC provided maintenance services exclusively to one major Dairy Manufacturer in the Gippsland, Victoria region, but has since expanded operations to service a number of clients in a variety of industries.
The expansion of the company has consolidated within its workforce a depth of experience in all facets of the maintenance industry.
The following skills are included in CTC's workforce:-
- Stainless steel welders experienced in the dairy and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Mechanical fitters experienced in refrigeration and pneumatics.
- Mechanical fitters experienced in high speed packing machinery.
- Electrical fitters experienced in PLC's.
Stainless steel fabrication and project management are growing sectors within the company and are now major contributors to the company's turnover.
The variety and flexibility of the management and workforce has enabled the company to be a competetive contractor in providing services for plant maintenance and for plant acquisition and installation.

SAFETY Safety Awareness is a key part of the company's philosophy.
CTC is committed to providing a safe and risk free workplace so that the health and welfare of employees and clients can be maintained at all times.
The best time worked without a Lost Time injury is in excess of 500 days.
TRAINING Training and development of CTC employees is encouraged with approximately 75% of fitters employed being Special Class.
Most of the electricians are qualified to level C6, and some have advanced certificates in Instrumentation and Technology.
Expansion of skills is supported, not only in the specific field of employment
but also in areas such as Safety,
Total Productive Maintenance, and Computers.
CTC supports the policy of employing and training apprentices.
